  We recommend frequent profiling as this can help reduce many heat-treating problems. Most people profile more when setting up a process. Once a baseline is established, Datapaq customers profile on a weekly or monthly basis. If the profile is well within the specification limits, then the frequency of profiling can be reduced. The more frequently you profile your furnace, the more opportunities you have to use Datapaq's new SPC analysis.
