  Thermal Barriers are designed to fit specific processes based on time, temperature, atmosphere and clearance. Datapaq manufactures over 200 different types and sizes of thermal barriers. If your process parameters change and you are not sure if your barrier will work in your new process, please contact Datapaq for assistance.

• Question:
  Is your equipment capable of providing accurate substrate temps of an IR oven?
  
  Answer:
  Yes. Datapaq has a quick response, exposed junction probe (PA0060) that can provide accurate readings of an IR oven. For accurate readings it is necessary to use a coated part. The probe can be placed on the substrate and coated over or taped on top of a pre-cured coating.

• Question:
  I think the rechargeable battery on my logger is faulty. Can I replace it myself?
  
  Answer:
  We would always recommend that loggers with rechargeable batteries be returned to Datapaq for battery replacement. We can then ensure that the logger is functioning correctly. If the battery is changed when the logger is in for calibration, Datapaq waives the labor charge for the battery installation. You only pay for the new battery and calibration.
